2009 WORLD YOUTH NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

At the IFNA Congress Meeting held here last week from 19th to 20th July, two countries bid to host the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships.

Singapore and Cook Islands were the two countries in contention. Both countries provided very professional presentations and outlined proposals for comprehensive organization of the event together with projections for money to be raised at the event.

The bid went to Cook Islands! ... so start saving and get your sunscreen ready for 2009.

The new facility that is being built to host the Championships is very impressive. Daily flights fly multiple times a day from New Zealand .. with Los Angeles being a great hub to use for those flights from the USA.
